It seems as though with the infectious nature of the corporate world we live in, the Indy spirit is slowly fading to black. Who can we blame for this.... I don't know, but it's a sad day when business and politics come between the people and their passions.
You have MTV claiming that they celebrate the in dependant artist, honestly who believes this garbage? Unfortunately everyone who watches this garbage- and it's a huge population of uneducated mainstream drifters who do- believe in this world MTV has created.
Entertainers are just that, they are supposed to entertain. So why do some many kids emulate White they see these people do. They facilitate our actions... yes I said "our" It's a damn shame to have to say something like that too. If it isn't celebrity approved most won't touch it, if it isn't forced fed to us we won't eat it.
And we all try hard to be who we our and we (by we I mean you my fellow bloggers and our readers) cir cum to ridicule for being who we are. I think that's even more of a travesty when someone is looked down upon for being who they are and believing in what they believe in.
Well I should probably mosey on over to my stats test.
Respect,
Mr. Greg
